I was born in Bo'ness, Scotland.
Having spent much of my childhood in Zambia, the bright colours are imprinted in my imagination and are evident in my paintings.
I studied A level art at the Adult Education Centre, Rochester, Kent where I was influenced by Patrick Butler and Gary Basset to explore both landscape and abstract oil painting.
Several years futher study with the Open College Of Arts (OCA) has allowed me the freedom of expression and I now enjoy painting vibrant sunset and seascapes. However I also enjoy creating abstract pieces.
My work is now in many private collections and is much sought after.
